The Spirit is all around us, working to help us even when we don’t realize it. Many times the most wonderful gifts in our lives come from the Holy Spirit. Maybe that feeling you have is from Jesus and Mary trying to show you the way.
This year, the theme of the Try Prayer! It Works! Contest is “One Spirit, Many Gifts.” What gifts have you received from the Spirit that have assisted you in helping others? How do you share your gifts with others? Are there gifts that you would like to receive from the Spirit? Why do you want these gifts? Please use your creativity in the form of a poem, essay or artwork to show us how these gifts have had an impact on you.
The Spirit is always there, ready to provide us with the gifts we need to help ourselves and others (cf. Gal. 5:22-23 and 1Cor 12). It is important to understand what these gifts are and how we can use them to serve the Spirit and the will of God. Please send us your entry depicting your thoughts and feelings on this important theme.p>
